Welcome to Westwoodside Coarse Fishery,

Located in the North Lincolnshire countryside, Westwoodside Coarse fishery is a beautiful 40 peg lake offering top quality sport for both match and pleasure anglers. Day tickets are £5.00 for adults and £4.00 for concessions, with the lake being open between 7.00am and dusk in the summer and 9.00am and dusk in the winter months.

The fishery has been recently acquired by a new owner David Taylor, who has some very exciting plans for the future including adding a cafe and toilet block on site.

Stock wise Westwoodside already holds a good head of fish with carp to 17lbs, bream to 6lb, tench to 5lb and lots of perch and silver fish. Stocking is done frequently and although there are plenty of carp to catch the pond will remain a mixed coarse fishery with a good stock of silvers with the view that we have something for everyone.

The pond itself is completely reed lined with a large island to cast to running down the middle. The pegs are accessible by car and have been very well constructed and are a generous distance apart which allows the angler a lot of areas within his/her swim to target their fish. It is intended to make the fishery fully wheelchair accessible in the near future.

The fishery has been kept as natural as possible and a lot of the fish are caught on baits such as chopped worm fished over loose fed casters.
