| Match Details: | The third day of freezing cold weather greeted the ten finalists, with expectations of good weights being quite low the results were a lot better than expected with plenty of fish being caught and a good tight contest resulted, with the outcome not being confirned until the last man weighed in, that man was Fraizer Bowell. Fraizer caught mainly Ide on maggot feeder and one carp of about 4lb which effectivly won him the match, second was last years winner Andy Lakey with an all Ide catch of 19lb 10oz from peg 24 taken on pole, waggler and maggot feeder. Third went to Dave Taylor of peg 11, he strugled all day to catch and switched to bomb and corn in the final hour to land three carp for 15lb and missed another bite due to a hair rig tangle around the hook. |

| Match Details: | The water temperature as dropped to a very chilly 4.5 degrees Cent as a result of monday nights severe frost and cooler daytime temps. Heavy rain and gale force winds greeted the brave souls who ventured out to fish the final round of what has been a very good fair winter league with everybody having loads of bites and fish. Going into todays match just 2 points seperated 7 anglers unfortunatly only 5 of the seven could qualify for the £500 winner take all final next sunday. Everybody without exception had double figures today with the lowest weight being 12lb, 20lb was needed for 6th spot with 48lb needed to win. That spot was claimed by Richard Jarvis again who ultimatly finished top of the league on weight with a maximum 4 point score, tying with Andy pounder. Richard caught four good carp for 25lb and 23lb of Ide all taken on maggot feeder from peg 34, second spot went to yours truly with 28lb all Ide taken on maggot feeder from peg 19 and third was Fraizer Bowell with 24lb 08oz from peg 35 again taken on maggot feeder. The following qualified for next sundays final. 1st Richard Jarvis 4 points, 2nd Andy Pounder 4 points, 3rd Ainsley Bowell 6 points, 4th Alistair Buchanan 6 points, 5th Dave Taylor 6 points, 6th Fraizer Bowell 7 points, 7th Dave Lawton 8 points, 8th Last years winner Andy Lakey 8 points, 9th Eric Fox 8 points and 10th Tony Swift with 9 points. | Match Details: | A cold wet and windy start with wintery showers turned out to be quite a pleasant day, again good average weights of around 18lb 08oz. Alistair Buhcanan won off peg 8 with 27lb 14oz of mainly Ide and a few stockies, second with 25lb off peg 2 was Richard Jarvis again Ide with a few stockies and third was Andy Lakey with 22lb 08oz off peg 7 a mixed bag which included a nice bream,Ide and stockies. Going into the last match it is really tight at the bottom end of the leader board with everybody still in with a chance of qualifying for the £500 winner takes all final, good luck to everybody in the final round this comming sunday 6th Dec. |

| Match Details: | Bigger more consistant weights than yesterday with an average weight of 19lb, the top weight going to Andy Pounder from peg 19 with 28lb 14oz, second was Alistair Buhcanan from peg 24 with 27lb 08oz all Ide taken on maggot feeder and third was Stuart Evans with 25lb from peg 17. |
